Let's see what kind of damage I can do with this. |
I decided to give my hands a break from the tool box but I didn't want to be unproductive for the day. I had recently purchased a wood burner from the local Hobby Lobby and decided to give it a whirl. My father likes to smoke cigars and most of the time they come in wooden boxes. I liberated some from his house to use as test subjects for my new toy. One of the boxes was very small, it only held two cigars and I was using it to hold my pencils. I transferred a picture I had drawn onto the top of the box using graphite paper then proceeded to go over the transfer with the wood burner. I ended up with the following finished product.
I tried to put as much detail as I could but I was limited by the selection of tips I had for this basic wood burner. I think it turned out nice all things considered and I'm looking forward to fiddling around with this again.
