Cross Shaped Jewelry Box

This is a jewelry box I carved for my mother-in-law. It's made out of three separate pieces for the bottom and four for the lid. It was joined together with wood glue, then stained with a cherry finish. To hollow the bottom piece out, I used the same technique I'm currently using on the wood tool box. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of how it looked before the staining or when it was in separate pieces. Hope you enjoy the photos and please feel free to subscribe and/or share this with your friends.
